Since I've got meself a shiny laptop, I haven't actually thought of installing flash or even checking up on NG for a long while.

Flash's new layouts since CS3 scare me. They don't feel as fun-lovingly innovative anymore.
If I ever finish any of my current flash projects, it's going to be a long while from now, and they're going to suddenly look different halfway.

Heh.
Heheh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAHHAAAHHHH

Flash? What's that?

My computer broke down a while ago. Suspected something about the power supply inside the machine itself.
The harddrive is completely intact, so I ain't lost anything, but I'm still rendered powerless in the sense of games and creative creation stuffs.
This means that I am dependant on the school computers and borrowed laptops.

In order to keep things positive I have googled some lyrics that may seem familiar to you.
If not, go get educated by Monty Python right now, you twat.

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life...

[Edit: Just noticed that this is entry 13. Olololololololol]
[Editagain: Level up! I haz nunchucks! Wooooooooooot!]

Dunno what I'm posting for. Probably for the sake of typing something.

Boredom does that to people.
Even if I should be working.

Well, as an esteemed artist once said: 'Procrastination makes perfect'.
I have very nearly mastered this art.

Codsdarn it.

Newgrounds is a perfect place to waste time you need to work in, and as such has been aiding procrastinators worldwide since, uh, whateveryearitwas.
Ages ago.

Also I'm wondering when those audio clips I sent through the audio portal will get through. Perhaps they wont. I wouldn't be surprised, they ain't worth much x3

I should stick to what I do best.
Trouble is... what's that?
Imma completely ignore my own words in this post and go watch some episodes or summat.
Meh.

A lamp you didn't need and a bunch of I O Us ain't the best I've had for christmas, but the IOUs are big, so I'm not complaining about that.
What I am complaining about is the meagre amount of rest I've gotten in these so-called holiday times. So Tired.

Oh, and I levelled up at Newgrounds again, yay, reminder of how lifeless I am. How can I still call myself lifeless if I am so unrested? Probably because it's all fluke. Lots of schoolwork I haven't been getting round to, and being dragged into town for various reasons, a filmevening with a friend's friends for I only have the one, etc, etc. That doesn't sleep too well.

On the brighter side of things, uh...
Yeah, on the brighter side of things... Let's see now.
Oh yes.
I can has commizshun?
It seems I'll be making a music vid for the band Spoon Lifts Moon's best song: Eating Muffins With The Dead. (I prefer calling this band by their previous name: Veratius. So I will)
Thing is, I have no deadline and only mediocre inspiration and little energy, so don't expect anything at all anytime soon.
Che. I call it a commission, but it's really no more than 'Hey pal, shall I make you a music vid?' 'Yeeeaaaaah duuuuuuude', which, admittedly, doesn't sound much like an income.

Oh well.
Oh, and for some odd reason my last few news posts actually managed to get commented on! How curious. I wonder if this one'll bring anyone in.
(What a depressing post this time..)

This place really needs a cleanup. Pity cleanup on such a scale isn't possible.
If it was, humans would be a whole lot more of a peace-loving race.

I stumbled across this today:

Newgrounds is an odd place... But we knew that

Not that anyone's going to read this anyways, but I'd thought I'd do an update. I like talking to myself.

C&C@H was a grand success, and even though I feel like I've quick-ended the job, I still got three times the amount I was expecting. This made me happy.
Half of this already has disappeared into martial-arts supplies and material for learning to read the Japanese language, but I could say it is money well spent, since the remaining half is sitting in my savings account collecting sweet interest like a good boy.

Oh, hey, neat, my whistle is no longer Garbage... It's been into and out of garbage status, what, twice now?

The series of books by Robert Jordan called "The Wheel of Time" I recommend to anyone who likes anything even vaguely fantasy-ish, and even those who simply enjoy a thrilling and reasonably intelligent read.
Still doesn't beat Terry Pratchett though.

I thought I'd have more to say, but meh.

Oh yes! School's being a biatch, so any more animations will take a very long while without strong motivation.
Also the new avatar I thought I'd have finished by now is indeed not finished for this very reason.

If anyone would like to help me launch the more professional business by, say, getting me a job, or even spreading the word around, that'd be mighty friendly, thanks.
Yeah, I know, a bit of a bastard move.
By this I mean the animation jobs business, by the way. Thanks, Falarinx!

So at what point does one get the ability to front-page post?

Checking in, rambling, checking out.

Hageveldflash, now called 'Chaos and Confusion at Hageveld' or just 'Chaos and Confusion' in the portal, because it won't accept names of that length, is now, you guessed it, in the portal.

Now what do I do?
What to choose, what to choose...

Forget Romy & Julian for a year or so, the voiceacting crew isn't cooperating yet and other things have gotten in the way.

Thing is, though, what has gotten in the way is something I wouldn'tve dreamt of to have so soon; I've been commissioned.
Yes, that means there's money in the works for me already! I know! It's insane!
What's even more insane is that my deadline is a few small weeks away and I ain't halfway with animating, and nor has a price actually been discussed... Oh, well. I'd be fine doing it for free anyway, since it's a permanent link with my name on it, which could only lead to more.
Expect it sneaking onto Newgrounds before the end of August.
I'm all excited about it, yet I'm also having another terrible case of Animator's Block...s.
It makes it hard to get animating. But I must press on!

Also I was planning on designing a new intro screen, combined with the loading bar so you won't have to see my nickname twice. But that may be a bit of a cramped work, deadline-wise.
We'll see what turns out.

I guess that marks me a professional, now. An amateur-professional with near zero renown.
Huh.
I'm looking forward to see what I end up with... That's right, I don't work with scripts when I can avoid 'em.
Hiiiii. I got chills.

Charge into the abyss!

Wait... What?

No, No,Romy & Julian!
Yes, Them.
English version coming soon!
And when it's done, it's to be submitted to Newgrounds.

How long should we wait for it? I dunno. Depends on both me and my voiceacting crew. And of course the communication between us.

Romeo and who?
