Great animation, loved link's expressions.
Navi getting excited about the stick and then the frog did amuse me, and there's kudos to that. Reminded me of my time in the game indeed.
After that, though, it was a bit of a sudden, senseless, slap-stick moment which actually kind of ruined the effect.
Well done, well executed, but poorly rounded off, to great pity.

Comparing it to the original animation, it had its improvements, and a few loose ends, and it kinda misses the open-and-overall-everywhere sense that the first had. However, this one does send a lot more emotion screaming through the spines of the audience. The funeral scene gave me chills, and no animation has ever sent that chill before.

As an animator, I know all too well how songs you're working with can get overly annoying, and sometimes my animation becomes slack when I've heard a song just too many times. This animation, however, didn't. Stayed the same self-proclaimed type of smooth I always have loved about animations like these, and I must say, the animation is well-done and well-synced with an admittedly neat song which I COULD imagine could rip your brain to shreds whilst listening to it for the sixtieth time.

...but it's hard to say if that actually made any difference. Like being fed through two stories at once, and they didn't clutter.

Although still simple and brilliant it it's own way, this one seemed slightly less entertaining then your other animations. Also slightly more dark and gory (woah, red!). Not that these things are linked.
